Nate!!

Well today was a great day! Nate was on a Military leave/break thing for a bit so he came up to Logan to hangout with us today. He brought his lovely Swedish girlfriend, which we all like. We had a great time, we just chatted and caught up on each others life, especially Nate's and his experiences in the military.

I'll be honest, i could never endure and take what these guys dish out, so high respects for Nate on that. Especially the punishments. Nate was telling us about how he had to do intense 20 minute training/punishment over crossing his legs wrong. They make him go to a dirt pit, and do various, strenuous commands for 20 minutes. It sounds awful and how they treat you like dirt. Bleh.

Megan, Mel, Nate and his gf, and I went to the mall, chilled out and fed the ducks at 1st dam, and we finished our hangout at Rumbi (which was delicious i might say). All and all I had a great time hanging out with Nate. Hopefully we will be able to hangout with him again when he comes back for another break.

On sadder news, Megan E messed up her ankle while she was skateboarding so I had to drop off Megan K at the hospital to keep an eye on her. I hope all is well for Megan E. Oh actually just got a txt. She had a bone chip, sound gross and kinda painful. Well hope she gets well soon!

Oh! and I've fallen in love with country music! Especially with this dude Hunter Haynes music. His stuff is awesome, and it is the country i like to listen to.

The Night the Sun Came Up

Hmm well Dev's new album finally came out ... about time. I gotta say i was a little bummed. I was hoping they were gonna put all of her big hit songs, but only some of them are on here. The beats are addicting and i like to listen to it but it is okay. I recommend "In my Trunk" and "Lightspeed" ... considering you already have the "In the Dark" single which is awesome! I admit this chick is kinda cool ... i mean look at these cool pics! Plus we both share the same name, so she has to be cool... its the requirement to be named Devin!

10 Hours = 0.o

Well i calculated how long I have spent in front of some form of T.V. this weekend while watching conference... and it has concluded to 10 hours ... ugh yeah my butt is not happy about sitting that long.

Megan K and I are currently back at Collegeville, aka Logan, and we have about 4 weeks left till we are done with school!! Ah can't wait I am so excited to have a break from all this school. I decided on the way here that I will probably major in graphic design. Graphic design sounds cool because you can use it in many different aspects ... = you won't get bored doing your job!

Oh and Eric N and I over the weekend went visited out old beloved place, the South Davis Recreation Center. We stopped by to see if our bosses were around to ask them what we would need to do in order to get our jobs back. I'm planning to work there as my plan B.. or Plan C... i really to be honest rather not work there, but I did really enjoy the time I was there. Hopefully i will not have to do swimming lessons again. I'm kinda tired of those but i still love guarding! Luckily i have some old friend still there like Spencer S and Zac. Gah Saturday! ... on brighter news

Well this weekend is General Conference, for those who don't know it is a large public broadcasting of our general authorities and our prophet. I honestly do like this weekend, but I do wish they were shorter. I love them and all, but I don't have the attention span to watch 10 hours worth of talks (priesthood session included). But i have enjoyed the sessions and the wise words they tell us. Oh oh! and i saw David Archuleta singing in the missionary choir! I thought it was pretty cool.

Between the breaks me and my dad were trying to get my car, Kyefin (Key-eh-fin), to pass inspection so he can get registered. Kyefin passed safety easily but he has a stupid engine light that will not go away. My dad has found a cool trick to keep it off and have it pass the tests, but this year Kyefin has been a drama queen. I drove about a 100 miles today with no avail. So sadly i don't think I will be able to drive this week. My dad will either have it repaired down here, or do the test again, but we are not sure. So wish me luck, hopefully we can get my car to be street legal once again. Oh and on better and brighter news, Megan E uploaded more photos of Levitation. I really love the one she did of herself, see for yourself!
